Weirdly enough I’m a person that is self confident in my abilities as a woman.  Having said that,   the Holy Spirit woke me up this morning with the inspired thought of loving myself.  I trust Him whenever He points something out to me, so I made the decision to love myself and I am experiencing an intense mindset shift.  I am now realising that I have to love myself regardless of whether other people do.  Lisa Nichols video is playing in my head, she says,” Your like is extra, my job is to like me first.”

In my life I am pretty frustrated with people, I’m always feeling that people fall pretty short when it comes to how they treat me.  I don’t feel heard, I feel like people only see what’s wrong with me but can never see what’s wrong with them, or because I’m a motivational speaker I’m put on an impossible standard then everyone else. Or how they try to prioritise the needs over mine.  The list of infractions are endless, but as a life coach and someone who has been doing the work I know that the real issue I have is with myself and not them per say.  If our focus is on other people then we are not dealing with our own personal issues.  It is not anyone else’s job to make me feel loved, appreciated or valued, that’s my job. And as I have now decided to love myself, the feeling of wanting love from others is getting smaller, I mean I am love, peace and happiness at my core.

In this journey of life you don’t have to know it all, the fun is in the self discovery of it all as you go along.  Because here I am now open to the universe to reveal to me the things that will make me feel loved, so that it removes the blockages that block me  from being able to access the love within myself.  As an adult you can no longer blame anyone for the way that you feel, if you feel like you missed out on something then go get it for yourself. That’s adulting and what taking responsibility for your life looks like.  You have to love yourself first, everyone else’s love is extra.

Love you guys xoxo.
